CME Enterprise has fulfilled accreditation requirements set forth by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and is accredited as a provider of continuing medical education for physicians, effective through November 2013.

As a follow-up to the October 2010 press release announcing organizational changes for CME Enterprise, we are pleased to announce that CME Enterprise will remain a separate, independent accredited provider and will not merge with DWA Healthcare Communications Group.

Independence

CME Enterprise, owned by DWA Healthcare Communications Group, is the first organization to be approved by the ACCME as an accredited provider that is separate from the commercial interest entity also owned by DWA Healthcare Communications Group.

With this distinction, CME Enterprise has no relationship with any corporate commercial interest, nor is it a commercial interest itself. CME Enterprise is in full compliance with:

• AMA Ethical Opinions on Gifts to Physicians
• PhRMA and AdvaMed Codes of Conduct
• FDA, OIG, HHS Regulations
• Stark I and II Regulations and all other federal and state laws governing appropriate legal and ethical behavior germane to medical education
